Junichi Sato

Chairman, Board of Directors

Junichi Sato had been named the Representative Director over three decades and was elected the Chairman effective March 2023. He joined Kakuyasu in 1983 and became president of Kakuyasu in July 1993 as the third generation of the founder's family. He has been at the forefront of its competition and the wave of deregulation, and well knowledgeable about the liquor market inside out.

Yoshiyuki Maegaichi

Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors

Yoshiyuki Maegaichi was appointed a director of Kakuyasu Group in 2020 and elected its president in June 2023. He has strong expertise based on its long and profound experience on corporate finance and accounting.

Kimikazu Kirihara

Chief Operating Officer, Board of Directors

Kimikazu Kirihara was appointed a director of Kakuyasu Group in 2023 and served as Chief Operating Officer. He has extensive knowledge including sales, operational stuffs and general affairs inside out as well as the liquor market. Prior to joining Kakuyasu in 2008, he was employed with Palace Hotel etc.

Junichiro Shinozaki

Chief Human Resource Officer, Board of Directors

Junichiro Shinozaki was appointed a director of Kakuyasu Group in 2023 and served as Chief Human Resource Officer. He was responsible for a wide variety of HR matters where he was accountable for the Human Resources strategy and planning, talent management, and remuneration expertise.

Hiroki Sasagawa

Chief Strategy Officer, Board of Directors

Hiroki Sasagawa was appointed a director of Kakuyasu Group in 2023 and served as Chief Strategy Officer. He spearheads the formulation and implementation of group strategies, including budget policies, business development, internal department collaboration, external corporate alliances, investor relations, and sustainability promotion.

Takayuki Oshima

Outside Director, Board of Directors

Takayuki Oshima was appointed an outside director of Kakuyasu Group in 2021 based on his extensive expertise for retail industry and its management. He had served the representative director and president of Belc Corporation, which is a listed company and supermarket chains mainly based in Saitama prefecture.

Tsuneko Murata

Outside Director, Board of Directors

Tsuneko Murata was appointed an outside director of Kakuyasu Group in 2021 on the basis of her ample knowledge and experiences of management, legal affairs, and auditing, having served as General Manager of the Legal Affairs Department at Panasonic Group.  In addition, she has been an outside director of other three companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. She also has profound insight into promoting the active participation of women. We expect her to use such experience and knowledge to strengthen our corporate governance.
